This article written by Hara Marano compares the words solitude and loneliness which are often used interchangeably. Loneliness is a negative and you can even feel alone with other people. Solitude is desirable alone time. You need solitude to help you think deeply and creatively.
I relate to the topic of solitude because I work more comfortably by myself. I like to work with one person or none at all when I'm photographing. I like solitude as a subject matter.
